24|7 Home Rescue landlord boiler cover is an insurance policy designed to help landlords manage boiler and central heating issues in their rental properties. Our basic policy covers boiler breakdowns, but we also offer insurance policies that include boiler servicing, plumbing, drainage, electrics, home security and pest control.

Landlords can choose from different excess levels per claim, ranging from no excess to £95 excess, ensuring flexibility to suit their budget. An excess is the amount paid towards each claim.

Not all providers of landlord boiler cover are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). 24|7 Home Rescue has been FCA-regulated since 2021, offering greater consumer protection and access to the Financial Ombudsman and Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Our products are available with or without a boiler service, depending on your needs. The boiler service is a non-insurance element of our products and is designed to provide a health, safety, and boiler efficiency check during each 12-month period.

The age of your boiler does not automatically prevent us from offering coverage; however, terms and conditions apply, and in some cases, we may need to adjust the minimum excess or policy price based on the likelihood of a breakdown. If this applies to you, we’ll discuss it before finalising your policy.

As a landlord, you are legally responsible for the safety of your tenants in relation to gas safety. By law you must: Repair and maintain gas pipework, flues, and appliances in safe condition. We can help provide the safety checks and legal documentation you need, so please just contact us for more information.

The price of a boiler service is shown as FREE when compared to the equivalent product without a boiler service. The boiler service is free in the first year only. Upon renewal the boiler service is chargeable.

• If you cancel your agreement within the 12 months agreement period and you have had a Free Boiler Service, a cancellation fee may be applicable.

The main reasons that the price of your agreement changes at renewal are because introductory offers (such as a first year free boiler service) have expired or because of the increased costs of providing our services to you because of inflation, improved products or investment in our infrastructure.

Your price could also change if you request a change to your agreement, such as changing your excess or opting for different levels of cover.
