Nationwide boiler, home emergency and appliance cover provider, 247 Home Rescue, recently gave its wide network of heating engineers a number of BoilerMag BM1 Level Indicator Test Strips.

The water test strips are a simple and easy way to check inhibitor levels in heating systems, changing colour to indicate whether the concentration of the inhibitor is optimised.
Staff at 24|7 Home Rescue initially used the test strips to test the radiators in their offices to make sure the inhibitor was at optimum levels. The company then provided all of their heating engineers across the UK with the strips.
24|7 Home Rescue then ran a highly successful social media competition, offering to send out strips to those for those who liked and shared the post. The company’s Social Media and PR Executive, Luke Marsden said: “We had an overwhelming response to the Facebook campaign; it went down a storm. We also had plenty of people commenting on what a great idea the strips are, and we agree!”
The engineers will now carry the strips on jobs to prove to customers how easy and effective they are – whilst the winners of the social media competition will be able to enjoy using the water test strips themselves!
